December Happenings

We had a nice quiet holiday season. It was fun to do things just with our little family. And to wake up in our own home. The kids had a blast decorating the tree. Aiden hang all the bulbs in a row on the garland. Zander decided it was to hard so he just brought the bulbs to Anika.

We got so much snow in December. The kids enjoyed playing it but it was really difficult to get out of the driveway. We need to invest in a snowblower, but we are told that this much snow is not normal. Thank goodness we have great neighbors with four-wheelers and plows to help dig us out.

The kids had a great Christmas. Santa was good to all of them. Anika was very excited about her blue Nintendo DS. Aiden recieved a Leapster. And Zander was excited about his Learning Laptop. Mom and Dad were excited about this presents too. We spend a lot of time in the car since it takes over an hour to get to Walmart or any shopping at all. They were also very spoiled by Grandparents and cousins. Thanks to all.

Before/After

After the chaos of the morning, the rest of the day was very relaxing. We spent the rest of the day playing with toys, taking naps, and eating all the yummy stuff that our neighbors brought. I was a total slacker and did not make any treats this year. I blame the pregnancy.

I think it was a good day!
