We had a great Valentine's Day. We started out the weekend decorating sugar cookies. The kids always enjoy it, even though they do not like them. Both Anika and Aiden had parties at school. And Aiden really enjoyed giving his Transformer Valentines.
We had our traditional Valentine's Day dinner on Friday. Josh had made plans for the actual day. The kids enjoyed the red and pink themed dinner. Yes, those are pink mashed potatoes. My mom always cooked us this dinner when I was little. I loved it so I am carrying on the traditional.
Saturday night we went on a wonderful date to this cute little steakhouse in Monticello. They have the best food and the atmosphere is just adorable. And this year I got the best Valentine's Day present ever. I got a maid, so I can enjoy my last baby. It was so thoughtful!

A maid that is so AWESOME!!! I love the pink mashed potatoes. What a fun tradition! I might just do that next year. =) Sounds like you had a great Valentines Day!!! =)
